Our Story
The Maktoub Farm story connects rural dreams, family growth and our desire for a more grounded life.
We took inspiration from Coelho’s Alchemist when naming our farm. “Maktoub” which translates to "it is written" means that although the universe is pre-written, it is your choice to pursue your destiny and fulfill your life.
Our Practices
Our approach to raising animals is simple: fresh air, daily movement, and a natural diet. This approach provides nutrient dense animals with robust health and immune systems, all without the need for hormones or antibiotics.
Our practices will be based on transparency with an open door policy for you to see firsthand. We dedicate ourselves to the well-being of our animals, the health of our soil, and the satisfaction of our consumers.
